Alumni Associates is a UK-based company providing “creative management solutions”, advice and training – on an international scale.
Alumni Associates is creative in its own right as it is a “virtual company” … set up to offer creative management solutions and training, to help you react quickly to impact and change situations. Alumni Associates operate by offering you low cost high quality solutions, supplying experts and expertise for you when needed – without the inflexibility or restrictions of permanent employees or consultants. Associates and partners are formally approved with the client and then contracted to suit your requirements and contexts. All associates are recognised academic graduates with sector expertise, industry experienced and qualified people.
As such, we offer and manage a range of project consultants and contributors who (although not permanently employed) – operate as a team of expert consultants and advisors built around the client needs.
Lead Consultant and owner – Alan Trueman, is an associate of North of England Excellence and a trained assessor in major quality disciplines with several years experience as public sector advisor to Civil Service and Cabinet Office network. He has expertise through a variety of leadership roles in developing and implementing Business Excellence, Investors in People, ISO 9001 and 14001, the new Training Quality Standard, Charter Mark, and other quality frameworks – to public sector, private and voluntary organisations.
Through his involvement in various projects for sustainability, Alan is also a Corporate Social Responsibility and “building better business” practitioner. Alan is an adviser to IRDO (the Slovenia Institute for Corporate Responsibility) – and presents on behalf of the United States and UK Embassies in Slovenia. Alan also designs and delivers a range of customised and nationally recognised training programmes from entry level to level 8 or Masters degree equivalent. These include Fundamentals series of modules in leadership development, customer service, effective delegation, managing teams and projects, creativity and innovation etc.
